Todd Cimino-Johnson Announces Bid for Leesburg Town Council

Leesburg, VA - Todd Cimino-Johnson, resident of Leesburg, announced today that he is seeking one of three positions on the Town Council in November 2022.

Todd Cimino-Johnson is currently the Program Coordinator of Business and Economics at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, WV. His education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Shepherd University, an M.B.A. from Shepherd University, a Masters of Arts in History from American Public University, and a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership from Old Dominion University. Todd is a member of Rotary International and served as president of his club from 2020-2021, a member of the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Committee, a board member of Safe Space NOVA, Treasurer and board member of Equality Loudoun, a board member of the Martinsburg- Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce, a Member of the Loudoun County Communications Commission, and a volunteer reader with Read Aloud of Berkeley County.

Todd Cimino-Johnson is a trusted leader who puts people and residents first. What he loves most about Leesburg, is the sense of community. His background will continue to put residents first, while helping bring Leesburg into the competitive 21st century global economy, yet maintaining the unique and vibrant small-town feel. Holding an MBA from Shepherd University, Todd is committed to sound fiscal policies and budgeting that does not raise taxes, promotes common-sense affordable housing initiatives, working to solve transportation issues, and promotes, explores, and invests in environmentally sound policies for the town.

Todd Cimino-Johnson had this to say about his decision to run, “The greatest honor of giving back to a community is being an elected official. I will work hard everyday to provide solutions for residents and businesses, while listening to any citizens' needs. If elected, I will be honored to be a voice for the people of Leesburg. I will provide my 100% commitment and effort into ensuring that Leesburg continues to be one of the greatest towns in the Commonwealth.”

Todd will work for and with the people of Leesburg, by responding to his constituents via email, holding town halls, and building bridges among a diverse population of residents.
